Reluctantly for sale is our beautiful Moody 346. We’ve owned this lovely yacht since June 2023, buying her solely on her superb condition after looking at many other similar priced much newer boats that did not come anywhere near. Sadly, and VERY reluctantly, we are now selling her as we have decided to move our boating dream onto the inland waterways. So, saying that, she needs to be loved by someone else.
Since our ownership she has undergone some amazing expensive and extensive upgrades and maintenance with a current spend during our ownership of over £12,000 all of which is logged for anyone to see. Everything from a few quid to thousands.

PLEASE NOTE:- UNTIL 2ND MARCH 2026,
SHE IS OUT OF THE WATER FOR ENGINE LIFT TO ACCOMMODATE BRAND NEW ENGINE MOUNTS, SUMP GASKET REPLACEMENT AND A FULL BACK TO METAL KEEL REFURB WITH KEEL JOINT RE –SEAL .

Moving on Here are some of the upgrades:-

• Fusion two zone radio with cockpit speakers and binnacle Bluetooth remote 2023

• Raymarine direct linear drive autopilot with s2 course computer 2023

• Full drive refurb - drive coupling, fully replaced s/s bolts, shaft balance, gearbox refurb, new damper plate, new stern gland new cutless bearing. All 2024
• Under water skin fittings all replaced with Tru design composite fit and forget ball valves. 2024
• New s/s exhaust elbow and exhaust pipework. 2024
• Fuel tank removal, clean, new gaskets and re paint. 2024
• Fresh water pump and two accumulator tanks (hot and cold) 2024
• Keel refurb - on going
• Digital temperature display at cockpit for engine, exhaust and even prop shaft! 2024
• New bespoke binnacle cover. 2024
• New spray dodgers. 2024
• New stack pak system and sail bag. 2024
• New headsail UV strip and headsail laundered. 2025
• Standing Rigging replaced -2025
• Original Thornycroft 34 HP four cyl diesel engine, serviced each year regardless, beautifully clean which starts on the button each and every time without any smoking whatsoever. These engines are totally bullet proof and just run and run. Currently lifted for new sump gasket and new engine mounts.

Also there is lots of other handy stuff done that adds value to her too numerous to list but as said is all logged in a history file available by email.
She is small ship registered, Has every bill of sale, has original build certificate, UK VAT paid certificate and a file of history as big as you will ever see.
She has been loved throughout her life by every owner and is in our opinion the best Moody 346 out there. But that’s our opinion, come see for yourself.
She is used every week and doesn’t just sit on her mooring. She is well known and admired when out on the river Medway and on her berth in Chatham marina in Kent.
She has recently taken us around the south coast and onto France and back again without a single glitch.

ITINARY - Pretty much it has the lot, incl class 'B' AIS,and radar all overlaid to plotter, Electric anchor windlass, - even a drone landing pad off the stern!!!!!!!

Also, going forward after sale I am 100% available for any specific advice about anything you will need to know about her. I sold my last boat to a chap in Ireland and still speak to him about her to this day.
She has a 2021 survey of which ALL recommendations however minor have been addressed.
As mentioned, she is as of now out of the water and is in the process of major works to the keel and engine, so is a bit of an ugly duckling at the moment, but viewings are welcome with you being aware of that. Re launching no fail March 2nd
She is moored at Chatham Maritime Marina in Kent.
