Rocketeer is a Moody 31 Mk II generally well-regarded for their combination of sailing performance, comfort and build quality. She is renowned for her stability and ease of handling even in challenging conditions. Designed by Bill Dixon the 31 is a good all round performer. The fact that between 1985 and 1991 over 300 in total were built stands as a testimony to their popularity as a family cruising yacht. Her sea-keeping and her spacious interior makes her the quintessential cruising yacht for her size. Therefore Rocketeer is a solid choice for both new and experienced sailors alike

Rocketeer has been well maintained by her current owner of over 10 years with a program of updates and replacements, the most recent being new lazyjack/sailbag in 2022, new asymmetric cruising chute in 2020 and replacement saloon rooflight/hatch in 2021. Rocketeer is ready for new adventures, with a new owner in the new season.
